HORSE-CONCEPT is about applying the science of horse behaviour in the business area. Human to Business promotes this method and utilises it in its projects: executive coaching, developing leadership and self-management competencies.
A session of work with a horse efficiently supports the development of key behaviours necessary for a leader:
Better self-understanding
The mirror image effect of the horse’s reaction makes us realise the true nature of our behaviours, our abilities to communicate non-verbally and their real impact on our interlocutors.
Better control over emotions
Thanks to a horse we have a better grasp of our emotions, realising their influence on our behaviours and decisions that we make.
The school of truth and honesty
HORSE-CONCEPT teaches us how to create the foundations for authentic cooperation based on goodwill merged with mutual trust and respect. The horse shows us our sincerity as well as lack of consistency.
ZEN approach
HORSE-CONCEPT teaches us to decrease tensions in order to create the conditions for learning. It helps us to maintain calmness and balance (ours and others’). The method contributes to reducing our stress and not passing it around.
Co-responsibility
Many of the HORSE-CONCEPT exercises teach the ability to develop distance, to purposefully withdraw and delegate tasks – anything that can encourage the sense of responsibility.
Academy of patience
The concept of time typical for people is completely obscure to a horse. The horse “forces” us to concentrate most of all on creating favourable conditions for cooperation, to seek openness. The horse teaches us that waiting does not mean doing nothing.
« Pedagogical simplification »
The horse reveals to us the secrets of eliminating anything that is disturbing. They teach us to erase exaggerated reactions like excessive authority, excessive haste, excessive gestures or an excess of words…
Observing from a different angle
By utilising the horse’s attitudes and reactions, HORSE-CONCEPT teaches us to read the subtle signals playing a significant role in building relationships.
HORSE-CONCEPT exercises do not present any risk to the participants’ physical or mental health. The exercises are conducted on the ground in close presence of the riding instructors, they are suitable for all: those who ride horses and those who don’t, and the knowledge of horses is not required.
